Flips and rotation combine, so you can mirror an image and turn it in a single step, which covers the common case of an image that is both reversed and rotated.

Rotation in 90-degree steps is lossless on the pixels, since it simply rearranges them. If you export to JPEG the file is re-encoded at high quality; choose a PNG for fully lossless output.

It rotates in fixed 90-degree steps and flips, rather than straightening by an arbitrary angle, which keeps the result crisp with no blurry edges or added borders.

Everything runs in your browser with the Canvas API, so it is fast and there is no waiting on a server.
